It depends on the topic, audience, and the depth of information.

The blog topic should be covered honestly irrespective of how many number of words it takes to conclude. There is no limitation on the number of words in a blog post with respect to SEO.

Keyword density on the page and on the domain is one of the factors in search engine rankings. To beat the competition, the pages which are already ranking might require adjusting keyword density or the number of words on the page. In this scenario, the number of words we can say is with respect to the ranked pages and not as per the blog topic in general.

There is no such thing as an appropriate entry length. The entry must exhaust the topic.

Exactly this ^

Nothing like ideal length. Length doesn't matter. Topic coverage and content quality/relevance does.

You can write tons of fluff and even if it worked for Google, all you'd get would bounce.

There is no exact length for a blog post. It depends on how long you want to create your blog for your topic and audience. However, according to Google, the ideal length for a blog post is about 1500 to 2000.

There is no ideal blog post length for SEO. The length of a blog post should be determined by the quality and relevance of the content, rather than a specific word count. It's more important to focus on creating valuable and comprehensive content that meets the needs of your audience and provides a great user experience. Search engines value content that is well-written, engaging, and provides thorough information, regardless of its length.

The ideal blog post length for SEO can vary depending on several factors, including the topic, competition, and the search intent behind the topic.

In the past, shorter blog posts of around 300-500 words were common. However, search engines like Google now prioritize high-quality, comprehensive content that provides value to readers. Longer blog posts, typically in the range of 1,000-2,000 words or even more, tend to perform well in terms of SEO.

As a writer and SEO researcher, I thought I should participate in this question to share my experience. We must consider first the quality of content as well as we are satisfying the intent. Now it comes to other competitors. Somehow you have to compete with your competitors content length. Now I have been writing the content for the roofing services blogs and implementing all the mentioned factors. The site has started getting ranked in the top 20.
