Would quality generated traffic help website rank?

Wondering if google uses visitor interactions to rank sites. Not just plain traffic numbers. Time spent on the site, scrolling, clicking, using browser back button and so on. Anyone ever tested that? Would be worth testing?

Yes, definitely. Quality traffic improves the website rank, because if the right person will search for the services, then the person also click on the results which will be displaying on the search engine and for ranking clicks play very essential role.

But how do Google know what's happening on a site? I understand that Analytics would say a lot, but what about sites that don't use Analytics?

@Jeniferdsouja how do you know? Personal experience? How did you generate traffic, if you can be more specific about it? That would help a lot.
