Installing same gtag manager script in two websites (stagging and Production website)
Hello friends, Hope you all do well, I have a question about g-tag manager. actully I have two sites, one is stagging site another one is production website. I have Gtag code inserted in Production site, But i do all my content update works in stagging site and migrate it to production site. As there is no gtag included in stagging site live site got replaced with stagging site and gtag verify script got vanished. So shall I use the same scrtipt in both sites? for stagging and production site? Please help me with this. Thank you!
I have a few queries before I answer. Is the stagging site used to upload the content and verify before using those on the production website?
If there is no commercial use of the staging site then it should be barred from indexing even.
Thanks for your reply! Yeah, what ever changes to made in my website, I will update in stagging site and verify it. After updating it i will migrate the stagging db to production site db. So shall i use one gtag manager verification code in both site(i will not allow stagging site indexing from google manualy
