Homepage marked as orphan URL

Hi all,

Been struggling for ages to get the website for one of our branches to rank - nothing seems to work.

Ran sitechecker.pro audit yesterday and one of the critical issues listed is that the domain URL is seen as an 'orphan URL' - which I simply don't understand how that is possible.

I've run a site:URL on Google and the homepage/domain is indexed - so it doesn't make sense.

Any ideas would be highly appreciated.

FYI - it is our suspicion that a competitor has been sabotaging the rankings for this site for years - not sure if that could be related to this issue?
