Can multiple niche domains point to one website boost SEO

by @caleb (114), 6 days ago

Hello, new member here and novice question. What advice do you have on the subject?

Background information and what I'm trying to do:

I have a construction company with a domain and website ranking well. I want to make a new domain(s), for example, city+service.com, to boost traffic. These super niche websites will not have duplicate content but will help rank organically on SERP and then backlink to the main construction website. Is this a good practice? Any advice regarding this, like different phone numbers listed or even using different hosts, etc? I was reading this and that, but I want your advice before spending too much time on it. Besides, I am enjoying the SEO learning process and getting faster and faster with my web design.

Should I scrap all of this and continue expanding my current website, or will that be convoluted?

I want to rank a super-niche website for search keywords and have that website generate leads via phone or appointment scheduling. I could care less about DA or PA passing as link juice; I just want to have additional lead funnels.

For example:

  • 1)Main website - Construction Company, Construction, Remodels, Additions, ETC
  • 2)Super-niche - Decks, install, repair, etc
  • 2)Super-niche - Paint, Interior, Exterior, etc
  • 2)Super-niche - ETC....

Website 2 will help generate leads for my primary business. Yes, we offer these services with the main website, but we don't want it overwhelmed with everything. Also, there is very little competition in my area for this.

Thank you!

It is not as easy as it looks to maintain multiple SEO websites for a long term. If it is possible with you, as you believe, then it is certainly better to have multiple websites for a better SEO outcome.

Using niche domains can help generate targeted leads and improve SEO, but it may be more efficient to expand your current site with dedicated service pages for better authority and easier management. Focus on quality content and local SEO optimization for best results.
