What your thought on Comment Backlinks in 2022 - 2023

I am just confused...
Some say "they are only useful if your remarks are sincere, well-thought-out, and pertinent to the topic matter".
On the other hand, some says "comment backlink does not works"

Always the most important and best backlinks are the ones that generate ruh to your website. Such links will always work.

Comments backlinks are important as they generate traffic to the website though most of them are no-follow links. But it still has importance.
