What is the maximum limit of URLs we can add into a single sitemap?

As I want to know the maximum limit of URLs we can add into a single sitemap for my new e-commerce website.

You can add max 50k URL's in a sitemap, if you have more URL's then you have to make multiple sitemap files and add them in the main sitemap using the sitemap index.
