Two blogs on same domain
Hi,
We are running software development and IT consulting site which are having good organic traffic.
Currently we have
ABC.com/article/ and on this we blog post on regular basis
Now we thinking to create
ABC.com/blogs/ and we will also keep ABC.com/article/
should it will work? is it good for SEO point of view?
There is no benefit in terms of SEO, whether you use ABC.com/article/ in URL or ABC.com/blogs/.

ABC.com/blogs/ we planning to make in wordpress
whole site is in html
It is the quality & volume of content, number of pages with, accessibility of pages, etc. are the keys impacting SEO. How you achieve these matters least.
yes agree, should we keep to the old one instead of creating new in WordPress

Think the ease-of-use etc. parameter while deciding these things. For example, SEO professional might feel at ease while publishing an optimized blog post using WordPress instead of publishing it using a raw HTML file, or likewise.
If I would have been given power to take decision, I could have gone with WordPress.

what is your thoughts in this case?
The old ones can be kept as it is now and move on with WordPress for new blogs. Or, shift the old ones too in WordPress for the sake of ease-of-management by keeping the old URLs as it is.
