Toxic Backlinks

by @CrunchyFr0g (114), 1 year ago

My site is getting hundreds of toxic backlinks every month. The pattern seems to be none for 5 or 6 days and then like 200 all arrive at the same time. I'm disavowing them, but organic traffic is declining.

Is it normal to get this many? If not, am I likely being targeted and what can I do about it?

Thanks!

Keep gaining quality backlinks to improve organic traffic. Google ignores bad links while considering for ranking in the SERPs.

Remove your toxic backlinks it may helpful

Although time-consuming, removing toxic backlinks is relatively simple: Learn what makes a back link "toxic." Use a tool to find all of your website's bad links. Request removal by contacting the webmaster. Create a "disavow" file and send it to Google so that those links are ignored.
