Setting up a single website or multiple websites as an exporter and importer.
We are starting as an exporter and importer of agricultural products. While the Indian office acts as an exporter, our office in the USA imports and distributes those goods.
My question is for SEO purposes, should we setup a separate website for the IN office that acts as an exporter and a separate website for the US office?
E.g. example.com/in and example.com/us
The thought is that, as an exporter, we could generate leads to sell goods to other countries as well.
What will be the pros and cons of having a single website vs multiple websites when it comes to SEO?
There is no harm in using multiple websites. If you can maintain all the websites then fine. In case of one website, you need to win backlinks for one website only and need to maintain in all other aspects too.
I prefer one website so that, I can make it more stronger in terms of DA/PA. In terms of SEO, there is no harm in either way.
