SEO SERP results for AU site pulling pricing from brand's international site

Hi everyone, I work with a brand that has an AU website and various international sites (e.g. US, EU, Canada etc). We have been seeing a recurring issue where pricing from one of the other sites of the brand gets pulled into SERPs, instead of the correct AU pricing which is on the page of the AU product page that needs to get displayed in SERPs.

  • Hreflang tags are correct between the AU and international sites
  • product & merchant listing schema show the correct price
  • the correct price is displayed on these product pages

We found that the client had this in their code "compare_at_price_max": 0,"compare_at_price_min":0" and then we fixed that to show the price of the listing for both the min and max parameter. We requested in GSC for the listings to be re-indexed and this fixed the issue. HOWEVER, we have seen this issue pop up again so I would appreciate some guidance on what else to check and why this issue of the wrong pricing being oulled from another site into the AU Shopify site.

(FYI they don't have the Shopify geotargeting app set up in Shopify)

If the code etc. are intact on the page then it seems a Google's cache issue. Re-index the listings again using the GSC once more to fix the issue.
