Recommeded Robots Meta for Product Tags?

by @akhil (114), 3 years ago

Hello everyone!

I need a suggestion from your side.

I'm running an ecom site (digital products). For each product, I add an average of 25 to 50 tags to the product.

For better SEO, I made those tag archive as "no-index". But I was thinking to make to "no-follow". What do you recommend?

The reason why I'm thinking of no-follow tags also is to retain the page rank within the page and not to be distributed to un-indexed archive pages.

Waiting for your recommendations.

Thanks Akhil.

Oh, what a good idea of business. I wish you good luck! I am not a specialist, and I don't even know how it would be better. You could try "no-follow" tags, and if you don't like it, you will go back to "no-index". Maybe it would be better to ask the opinion of a specialist? I have my gym, and when it came to making a website, I collaborated with a company that makes website design for fitness companies. They made it easier for me and made my website look great. And to this day, I ask them for advice. So to have a more secure answer, ask for the opinion of specialists.
