PPC stealing my traffic?

Hi all! One of my customers is running an aggressive PPC campaign centered on a major keyword which is also very important SEO wise( like, ten thoudand dollars a month aggressive). I (the SEO guy) have a dedicated page on the customers site for that word, and the PPC campaign leads to an external landing page. Obviously the PPC os "stealing" traffic from the organic. My question is, is there anything I can do to improve organic results in this scenario? Is there any logic in maybe combining the the two pages into one?
