Page Redirect Question...
Hi there,
I have an FAQ page that is related directly to a service we offer. This service page is a cornerstone page on our website. The FAQ page doesn't really have any large historical value (backlinks, visits, etc.).
For our users, I feel it would be best to include these questions on our primary service page as it would provide further information about the service.
With this said, If I were to delete the faq page and 301-redirect to our service page, would there be any concern about hurting our service page's value? If so, I'll either leave it or just remove it entirely and let it 404. Any input on this would be great. Thanks
I also would think in the same way as you are, include the FAQ content on the respective service page. Delete the FAQ page and remove all links on the website to this page. Finally, remove this FAQ page from Google's index using the Google Search Console.
