My Client's website is not getting indexed on Bing search?
Hey there, One of my client's shopify ecom store is not indexed on Bing search. Is already indexed in Google search. Can anyone have an idea what's wrong with the bingbot. Why is it not getting indexed in Bing search results? Anyone have any idea? Please help me out if anyone has a solution. Thanks, alot.
This is not a solution for your answer but i wanted to tell you that i have a website which is not ranking on Google but it is ranking on Bing and in your case it's opposite.
Are you mad? I'm not talking about ranking. If it's not indexed how, it could be visible on the search results. Read my concern twice then answer it.
Hope the website has been verified for Bing Webmaster Tools and sitemap has been duly submitted to process the URLs for indexing. If not then please do the needful.
@atulsharma please mind your words. I gave just an example. I already clear that "This is not a solution for your answer ". i was saying what i'm facing right now.
How long has the site been online?
Bing is undergoing huge changes so it could take more time than we were used to.
Hi! It's possible that the Bing is having trouble crawling your client's Shopify ecom store. There could be a few reasons why this is happening. Here are some suggestions:
- Check if the store is blocking Bing from crawling: Ensure that the store's robots.txt file is not blocking Bingbot from crawling the website. You can check this by going to the store's robots.txt file and verifying that there are no "Disallow" entries for Bingbot.
- Submit the store's sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools: Submitting the store's sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools can help Bingbot discover new pages and content on the website.
- Build high-quality backlinks: Building high-quality backlinks to the store's website can help Bingbot discover the website and index it faster.
