Keywords don't match search intent

by @kitty (142), 2 years ago

I have a couple of keywords on my page ranking high. However, they do not match search intent. So, I see that this page has high exits. What should I do with these keywords? Remove/improve the content by adding new keywords. The page ranks quite well, so I fear that if I remove these keywords, it will drop in rankings.

Will be grateful for your advice!

The existing content can be updated with new added content to meet the intent too. User experience also should be maintained to meet the intent of search. It is possible to do without disturbing the existing content or rankings.

You can do one thing update the content again and this won't affect your site's ranking.
