Is keyword density overrated?

Keyword density is definitely important, but I would like your opinions on a video like this:

I think you need to change the keyword, better if you choose the 5-6 anchors and provide the variation optimization with them and you will see the best methodology how does it work.

No, keyword density still exists. Use 2% keywords means for 100 words paragraphs use 2 times keywords. Don't do keyword stuffing as it will be penalized by Google.
