Let's suppose my website is related to Real Estate company (you can check my website on this thread ) and I'm making backlinks on different niche website. Does it make sense to make backlinks on different niche websites?
Links within your niche (topical backlinks) are always valuable and more valuable than links from random websites.
Keep in mind that relevance is a strong signal to SE. Like @ms said before stay in your niche. So real estate, finance, builders f.e., dependable of your website content
