Does order of meta robots tag parameters matter?

I've come into conflict with some SEO firm which say that the order of the parameters in the robots tag must be "noindex, nofollow", instead of how I'm currently outputting it "nofollow, noindex".

I stand firm by that I am correct that it doesn't matter, but they claim that it is breaking the official guidelines by Google.

Who is correct, me or them?

As a bonus: They also want the tag on it's own row. Not minified between other tags.
