Competitor Analysis Suggestion Needed

by @chewonseocomau (138), 9 months ago

My competitor studiobrave.com.au is ranking for keywords without have any sort of relevant content on the website. How is this possible? I have checked through tools like screaming frog and find no trace of content which includes keywords such as eg: melbourne graphic design agency, design studios melbourne but still ranks No. 1 for it.

The only nearest possibility i could find is backlinks with near anchor text which includes the keyword Graphic Design for eg: “Website build by: Creative Online Solutions - Graphic Design: Studio Brave” and the keyword is not even a anchor text.

They also have lower Pagespeed score while our website has perfect score of 100/97/100/100 both mobile/desktop

Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks

The two possibilities here are:

The target keyword has low difficulty level for ranking: easy to rank; and They have many backlinks pointing with anchor texts suggesting the targeted keyword.

Did you properly check/read the page content? Aren't they talking about the keyword in some way. OR. They have mentioned location prominently.

When conducting competitor analysis, start by identifying your main competitors in your niche or industry. Analyze their websites thoroughly, looking at their content quality, structure, and keywords they target. Examine their backlink profiles to understand their link-building strategies. Utilize SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz to gather data on their organic traffic, top-performing keywords, and the types of content that drive engagement. Monitor their social media presence and engagement metrics to assess their online visibility and audience engagement. Additionally, consider signing up for their newsletters or email lists to gain insights into their email marketing strategies. The goal is to identify their strengths and weaknesses and use this information to refine your own SEO and content strategy, ultimately aiming to outperform them in areas where they fall short.
