After migration from UA to GA4, why GA4 report data dropped compared to the UA

Total traffic to the site has significantly dropped from million views(UA) per month to thousand views(GA4) per month.

In UA, users represent a total number of users while in GA4 it is active users. Active users are here, the users who keep visiting the site. Please visit the following links to understand this in detail.
