Hi everyone! I’m planning my wedding for next year and have started searching for engagement and wedding photographers, but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there. I really want someone who can capture both the sweet, candid moments and the more formal shots, but I’m not sure how to know if a photographer's style is the right fit for us. I’ve also been wondering if it’s important to book the same photographer for both our engagement and wedding photos? I’ve heard it can help with continuity and getting more comfortable in front of the camera, but I’d love to hear your thoughts. If you’ve worked with engagement and wedding photographers before, what was your experience? What should I be looking for in their portfolios, and how do I make sure I’m picking someone who will really understand our vision for the big day?
