In my 5 years journey I learned that we have to select only those website to backlinks which can be index by the google. If you are making backlinks on a site but site are not allowing to index that URL on which you have backlink then you are wasting your time by creating backlink on that type of website. More index backlinks boost your performance in SERP.

While creating backlinks keep in mind that backlink should be index by google natural. Build Do-follow and no-follow backlinks do go only for do-follow. The no-follow backlinks are also important to rank website.
